The dedicated attention of your instructor in a private studio ensures you have the best experience to achieve the results you want. The price structure for individual Pilates is the same as massage; a package of 10 sessions may be used for either Pilates or for massage.

Pilates Instructor
Instructor – Haruno Yamazaki
Haruno is a top ballet dancer trained by master teachers in classical ballet and contemporary dance at the School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Chautauqua Institute of Dance, Ballet School of Stamford, and Greenwich Ballet Academy.
She has performed as a principal and prima ballerina in several productions all over the world. A native Eglish speaker having lived in New York for most of her life, she returned to Japan to join the Tokyo team in 2015. Haruno began Pilates and yoga when she gained a strong interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation after sustaining injuries of her own. She became a certified Romana’s Pilates instructor at the True Pilates Studio in New York City under Romana Kryzanowska and Sari Meija-Santo and has taught at some of the world’s top pilates studios including New York and Belgium.

Who Should Take a Pilates Duet Session?
Can’t afford a Private session, but want to experience an integrative workout on all the classical Pilates apparatus?
A Duet is more affordable with the same benefit. Just have to find your workout partner! You’ve always talked about working out together…. a friend, husband, wife, co-worker or teammate. It’s fun and effective.
Tips for Pilates Duet Sessions
Be sure to partner with a committed friend. If they cancel or can’t make it, you have to cancel too or pay the cost of a Private Session.
Schedule a “standing appointment” each week. It’s the best way to commit to the Method and to each other.
Dress in form fitting workout attire so your Pilates trainer can see your form and make proper corrections.
Studio Policies
Tokyo Physio reserves the right to cancel classes and/or sessions for any reason. All classes require two or more participants. If only one person has signed up for a class it will be cancelled. We will do our best to fit you in to another scheduled class.
All appointments and classes are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you fail to cancel prior to 24-hours in advance you will be charged for the full amount of the scheduled session.
If you have not shown up within 20 minutes of your scheduled session time, you will be charged the full session fee. The teacher is not responsible to stay past 20 minutes if you have not called to say that you are coming.
Teachers are subject to change due to scheduling or emergencies, and that if another teacher is made available, you are still responsible for keeping your appointment if it is within 24 hours of the session or class time. (If you have requested a certain teacher all efforts will be made to contact you, therefore please keep us updated on new phone numbers and contact info.)
